"George Bullard Talks Transforming Congregations"
How To Take These Courses

The process for taking this course is simple.

Prepare For Class

  • Post Class Roster Form as described above.
  • Review the Class Syllabus and Calendar. Make note of any EVENTS.
  • Purchase Class textbook

As soon as you join the class, be sure to file out the class roster and be sure to add a photo of yourself. Be sure to update any of your information if it changes during the class. Your contact information and photo will be private and will only be seen by members of the class.  You may want to begin with the minimum information you wish to be viewable by other students, and then update your contact information as the course moves along.

Listen to a Video-On-Demand Sessions

Each course contains a total of approximately 6 hours of video lectures. Please view the video as many times as you wish for full comprehension.

Participate In the Corresponding Live Sessions

  • Class Conference Calls
  • Featured Interviews
  • Text Chats

From time to time, there will be synchronous interactive events where the class will meet on-line as a group. Examples include Live Broadcasts, Conference Calls, Chats. Because everyone is on-line together, synchronous events are great opportunities for fully-interactive dialogues in real time. Synchronous events will be announced ahead of time so watch the class calendar and the Class Forum.

Post Into the Class Forum

The Class Forum is the cornerstone of our interactive features. In the Class Forum you can open new threads of conversations for discussions or question on any topic you wish. Also, you can read the threads of your classmates and instructors/mentors and post comments, if you wish, expanding the discussion.

We recommend that after you view each video session that you enter the Class Forum and either start or continue discussions of the material just covered in the video you just finished viewing. The Class Forum is asynchronous which means your colleagues in the class won't have to be on-line together; you can post your new thread or comment and come back later to read replies and enter additional responses.

Repeat For Each Lesson in the Course

Each lesson process is the similar to the others.  For some lessons, there are more documents to review, there are variations in the amount of reading from the required textbooks, and there are different assignments for each content area.  Be sure that you are familiar with the SPECIFIC requirements for each session.  Viewing the Videos is only one part of the class experience.  Interaction with the instructor and other students is a continuous process, and completion of assignments is periodic.
