Chuck Knows Church Video Series

“Chuck Knows Church” began as a six-episode video series to help United Methodists know more about their church, but has since morphed into almost 100 episodes in the series seen by more than 50,000 people around the world.

The United Methodist Discipleship Ministries has expanded the program to include a new series called “The Committee." In the new series, the fictitious Park Grove Community Church has lost its way, lost its pastor and will close its doors ... unless, despite itself, it can find a new way of doing church with the help of Chuck.

Chuck Knows Church is now composed of two online video series that help interpret complex subjects and issues in a fun, yet informative, way.  Each series features “Chuck” who helps us learn more about our church while inviting us to have a deeper conversation with our pastor or priest.

• The ORIGINAL SERIES is all about the objects, symbols and terms we often hear in church. Take a couple of minutes each week and have some fun while you learn from Chuck.  Each week a different video is released. There are currently almost 100 episodes available on a variety of topics with more being produced. Each episode is approximately 2-5 minutes.
• THE COMMITTEE is a humorous and poignant online series that examines the struggles congregations face as they look toward a preferred future. Using real-world topics, The Committee is sure to open discussion in your church. Designed for both individual viewing and group study, each free episode also has a free downloadable study guide.  A new video is released each month. Each episode is approximately 10-13 minutes.

TransformingTheChurch carries the entire Chuck Knows Church, both series. Episodes are encoded into Adaptive Streaming distributions sets and supported by our content delivery network (CDN).
