All of the films in our online film festival will be posted on Friday, March 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. CST.
Please return then.
The films that we will be showing in our online film festival will be made available beginning at 2 p.m. Central Time on Friday, March 6, 2015.
Until then, this section of our website (the festival's mini-site) is stocked with background information about our festival and its films. See the buttons in the sidebar on the right-hand side of the page. From time to time, we will be adding new pages and additional information so please return.
When the film festival opens at 2 p.m. Central Time on Friday, March 6, 2015, the sidebar will be modified to include buttons that will link to each film that will be shown.
If you are a registered member of our Connected Community (see below), we will be sending you an e-mail notice when the festival opens, and the films are available for viewing.
Simply return to this page (bookmark it for convenience) and use it as your "jumping-off spot" for all of our films and features.
If you are not yet a member of our FREE Connected Community, please register. In addition to all of the free content included in the community, you will also receive timely information via e-mail about the film festival and reminder notices when the festival opens.
Please join us the weekend of the film festival. Also, please invite your friends as well. The more people you invite, the better! Admission to the film festival is FREE and open to all.
Also, watch the films as many times as you wish.
You and your friends can use any device you wish to view the films and any reasonably fast broadband connection. We do recommend that you use the fastest possible broadband network that is available to you. Faster networks will allow us to serve a higher quality version of each film to your device.
To view each film at the highest possible quality that we offer, your broadband connection should be able to sustain video payload of about 8,692-kilobits per second. A broadband connection of this speed will net a 1080p high definition video with a spatial frame size of 1920-pixels x 1080-pixels at 24 frames per second.
However, we will also support connection speeds as low as 256-kilobits per second, typical of a slow third-generation wireless network.
Watch from your smartphone, computer or Chromecast the festival's films to your 1080p high-definition television screen.
Each film is about 15 minutes in length, and all five films in the festival take about an hour to view.
