e-Newsletter - Volume 3, Number 29 We now have a new global entry lobby for all facets of the Connected Community that can be seen at https://www.transformingthechurch.org/pages/member_home Any registered member can access this page with their username and password. As our Registrar's Catalog grows with new courses, communities and events, getting to your premium content has beem getting bit more complex with each growth step. Some of you belong to many facets of the Connected Community; some only one. Remembering what you are authorized to access would have continued to become more complex every time we added something new to the catalog unless we streamlined the system. We accomplished that tonight. The new global entry lobby expedites finding and entering any of your premium content. To use the new entry lobby, click here or click on the button shown below (log in required)
Now, all users will land in the entry lobby upon a standard log in. From the entry lobby, you are one click away from any of the facets of the community that you have authorization to access. The dynamic application embedded in the entry lobby page will instantly access your User Account data base records and compile a an up-to-the-second list of all facets of the website to which to have authorized access. If you have authorized access to a course, community or event, your content will show up in the list even if you belong to all facets or just one. You no longer have to keep track of what facet of the website you have subscribed or remember its name or URL. Simply click on any of the items shown in the list. Of course, you can still manually navigate into your premium content via the primary navigation menu under the masthead of the entry lobby. Also, your bookmarks in your browsers will still take you directly to your content bypassing the entry lobby. However, if you do a standard log in, you will land directly into the entry lobby with its accurate and dynamically compiled list of all of the premium content that is available to you. Then, make one click on the course, community or event shown in the list to enter that space. You can return to the entry lobby any time you wish by clicking on the "Connected Community" link located at the very top of every page in the website. |

"Building Effective Online Ministries" Christian College and TransformingTheChurch.org have endeavored to make this community as RELEVANT and as ACCESSIBLE to as many pastors and church leaders as possible. We have made access to this community FREE in order to ensure that even those on a “lean” professional development or educational budget can participate. Also, since access is FREE, any and all interested volunteers from churches are welcome to join. This is not only fresh, new content on an important subject, but the community affords direct interaction with subject-matter experts and mentors. We believe that the VALUE is unsurpassed, and we offer this community to the Church and Her Servants with hopes that you can participate.
