RL-01 Class e-Newsletter - Volume 1, Number 6
We're Asking For Your Help
by Bill Anderton

We just finished the second of five scheduled live conference calls this week and we're still registering new students for the class! We are getting new students into the class almost every day!

Currently, as I write this, one-third of the total number of students in this course registered AFTER the start of the class and more are coming in daily; even now!

We have never before had this many late registrations for a course. This is a significant number and we have taken note of it.

Also, students are registering for this course are coming from all over the country; ocean to ocean and border to border.

The shear number of registrations and the broad geographic distribution of students indicate this course is filling a broad need. The large number of late registrations also indicate this class still has a significant appeal even after the class has started.

To me high percentage of late registrations indicates that while this course has already surpassed our expectations for the number of students it would attract, there are more POTENTIAL students that might register, IF ONLY THEY KNEW ABOUT THE COURSE.

Late-Registration Partial Scholarship

To stimulate additional late registrations from new students, I am beginning an e-campaign on Monday to offer partial scholarships for those new students who would like to take the last half of the class.

From today, right now, and for the remainder of the Advent season, anyone who registers late for this class and uses the Scholarship Code (shown below), will receive a $30 discount off the price of the course for the remaining session.

All the registrant has to do is enter the Scholarship Code into the indicated spot on the online order form. At checkout, the $79.99 price of the course will be discounted $30.00 to be $49.99.

The Scholarship Code is "COLLEAGUE"

This partial scholarship is available to any new student. It will be honored throughout the remainder of the Advent season from any new student who uses this code in a new registration.

We Would Like Your Help Getting the Word Out to Your Colleagues

In addition to our e-campaign that begins Monday, we are asking each of you to pass the word about the availability of this course to your colleagues who might be interested.

To help, all you have to do is make your colleagues aware of the availability of the course.

We have set of a special page in our public website about this late-registration offer. Simply pass this link to your friends and colleagues and ask them to read the page. It is fully stocked with information and the course video trailer.

To see the special page, refer people to:

In the short time remaining before Advent and during Advent itself, please help us get the word out about this course.

How You Can Help

First, send an e-mail to anyone you think might be interested in this course. Include the link (above) to the special page. You also might download both the course brochure and flyer (in the column at the right) and include those as well.

Second, post the link to the special page to those in your social networks, Facebook and Twitter for example. Also, you might repeat your postings several times, days apart.

Third, please make your colleagues in your ministry groups aware of the course and point them to the special page.

Fourth, call any of your colleagues and make them aware of the course.

Finally, anything else you can think to get the word out will be greatly appreciated.

The Last Half of the Course Will Have a Great Deal of Value

First, all five of the video-on-demand sessions will always be available for viewing. These alone will be of value to those entering the class for the first time.

Second, all of the past live conference calls are recorded and available for catching up on the past sessions.

Third, the Class Forum is always available for catching up with questions on past video-on-demand or live conference call sessions. It is never to late for new questions and continued discussions of earlier sessions.

Not Too Late!

Just among the clergy that I speak with regularly, I have heard from several pastors that say they are just now beginning their sermon preparation for Advent; others tell me that they haven't yet begun.

Therefore, it isn't too late to begin this course and receive the value of it content.

Even for those who might have just started their preparation, this course can provide a jump-start to a meaningful series of sermons during the Advent season.

Anything that you can do to help us pass the word about this course will be greatly appreciated!

Please tell your colleagues about this course! It is not too late for your friends to join the class.
