e-Newsletter - Volume 1, Number 3 Six sessions of fully-interactive online education with Dr. Dick Hamm will begin August 25, 2011 at 8 p.m. CDT. The online class is titled "Recreating the Church: Leadership for The Post-Modern Age” and is based on Dr. Hamm’s book of the same title. The class is open to both clergy and laity; all are welcome to register and participate. This class will be delivered via online learning technologies and all that you need to participate is to have a web browser capable of running Adobe Flash and have a broadband Internet connection. Participants will be able to take the course and fully participate in the class from their homes or offices. The registration fee is $129.99 per participant. Using TransformingTheChurch.org’s “Watch – Discuss – Do!” approach to online education, the course consists of five video-on-demand sessions of Dr. Hamm’s lecture and five fully-interactive live online sessions with Dr. Hamm. A sixth session featuring all the music from the course performed as an uninterrupted online concert by John Tracy is also included as a bonus. The first interactive session of the group class will begin August 25th at 8 p.m. CDT and continue meeting online each week for a total of five weeks. Each week, online students will view one video-on-demand session and participate in one fully-interactive live online session with Dr. Hamm. Registration is online and available now. Early registrants can access the virtual classroom immediately and begin viewing the video-on-demand sessions in advance of the August 25th class start.
